Position Details: Minimum Qualifications: Education: Degree(s) in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, technology or related field experience. Experience: Two (2) years of relevant technical or business work experience or knowledge in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related technical/analytical field, with a proven ability to deliver actionable insights that influence strategic decisions. Preferred Qualifications: Certification: Epic/Clarity Certifications and/or equivalent Healthcare experience. Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: • Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and/or Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis, along with expertise in industry-standard data visualization tools. • Strong analytical thinking and advanced problem-solving capabilities, with experience handling medium to large datasets, including data cleansing, transformation, and integration. • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams, demonstrating sound judgment and ownership over assigned projects. • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data quality, accuracy, and integrity. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. Transforming the Health of Our Communities Our Mercy health system was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1986. But our heritage goes back more than 195 years. It began with an Irish woman named Catherine McAuley, who was determined to help women and children in Dublin experiencing poverty. Though Catherine had a modest upbringing, she received an unexpected inheritance that allowed her to fulfill that dream. In 1827, she opened the first House of Mercy in Dublin, intending to teach skills to women and educate children. Many volunteers came to help. A few years later, Catherine founded the Sisters of Mercy, one of the first religious orders whose Sisters were free to walk among the poor and visit them in their homes. In 1843, the Sisters of Mercy came to the United States. In 1856, they traveled to St. Louis. In the years to come, they would establish hospitals throughout the Midwest.
