The Redis Cloud Operations team is hiring for a Site Reliability Engineer role, offering you the chance to work on large-scale systems and support our valued customers. You'll operate state-of-the-art products using the most cutting-edge and best-in-class SRE tools. In this global role, you'll participate in the monitoring, operation, and management of a Redis managed service at one of the world’s largest cloud providers. What You’ll Do
Own and manage production incidents impacting Redis Enterprise clusters in Azure cloud
Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems, driving root cause analysis and resolution
Partner with R&D and Product teams to resolve bugs, influence product improvements through operational insights, and drive long-term reliability enhancements
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation in a global team (follow-the-sun model)
Design and develop code-driven automation tools, internal platforms, and data workflows leveraging cloud services and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Codex, Claude) to streamline operations, enhance incident analysis, and improve visibility into production systems.
Build and maintain services to enhance incident management, reporting, and fleet-level insights.
Enhance observability and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor) by building AI-driven systems for data enrichment, anomaly detection, and automated troubleshooting.
Continuously enhance incident response processes and overall system reliability at scale
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience), with 4+ years in SRE, Cloud Operations, or Infrastructure Engineering
Proven experience troubleshooting production systems at scale, including hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Strong Linux/Unix systems knowledge
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Azure Data Explorer) and analyzing telemetry data using KQL.
Strong scripting/programming skills in Python and Bash; experience with C# is a plus
Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate code generation, improve automation workflows, and enhance operational tooling.
Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD platforms (Git, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for large-scale distributed systems
Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable automation solutions in a production environment
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Redis or other NoSQL databases
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
Cloud and Linux certifications
Experience with C# and other programming languages.
Experience in regulated environments (e.g., Sovereign Cloud)
