Job Title: Lead, Account Management, Specialty Chemicals (m/f/d) Job Description: Across industries, specialty chemicals are driving advances in performance, purity, and efficiency. Entegris is leading this shift, expanding rapidly into high-growth specialty chemicals markets—including Life Sciences, Advanced Catalysts, and Semiconductor applications—to support the world’s most innovative manufacturers. To accelerate this momentum, we are seeking a Lead, Account Management to join an empowered, growth-focused team driving customer success and market expansion across Europe and Asia. This position is based in Germany. The Lead, Account Management will play a critical role in advancing a high-growth business within Entegris. As the primary commercial owner for Specialty Chemicals in non-semiconductor markets across the region, this role will drive regional strategy, expand customer relationships, and deliver growth in revenue, profitability, and market share across targeted specialty chemical segments. What You’ll Do Own the commercial territory and portfolio across Europe and Asia for priority specialty chemical markets, with accountability for regional growth, strategic account development, and market expansion. Develop and execute regional commercial strategies by segment, region, and account—aligning customer priorities, product portfolio opportunities, and competitive positioning to business objectives. Build strong relationships across customer organizations and channel partners to expand share of wallet, accelerate qualification activity, and unlock new programs. Drive retention, mitigate account risks, and lead contract renewals—including pricing, terms, and commercial agreements—to support long-term partnerships. Lead complex opportunities from discovery to close, including strategic account planning, technical and commercial alignment, proposal development, negotiation, contracting, and long-term business expansion. Manage the regional pipeline, forecast, and growth planning, with accountability for revenue, margin, and opportunity progression by account, application, and segment. Champion disciplined commercial excellence, including value-based pricing, strategic deal shaping, and margin optimization across the region. Coordinate cross-functional alignment across Product Management, R&D, Operations, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to support customer growth, issue resolution, and execution excellence, while positioning the role for a broader commercial scope over time. Support team effectiveness by providing guidance, mentorship, and collaboration across the broader organization as needed. Bring an entrepreneurial mindset, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and a willingness to actively support and drive go-to-market initiatives that accelerate growth. What We Seek Experience: 8+ years of commercial experience serving the specialty chemicals market, life sciences, advanced materials, or related technical industries, with a demonstrated track record of managing complex international accounts or regions. An established network within pharmaceutical companies, CDMOs, distributors, and related industry partners is a strong plus. Education: B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Business, or related field required, advanced degree preferred. Market & Industry Experience: Experience supporting customers across biopharma, pharmaceutical manufacturing, process development, and related technical markets, with the ability to navigate complex customer ecosystems and strategic channel partners. Proven success driving growth through both strategic account development and new business acquisition, including the ability to identify, penetrate, and expand target accounts, convert competitive opportunities, and build sustainable customer relationships from initial engagement through long-term growth. Business Development & Go-to-Market Leadership: Experience developing and executing regional growth plans, market expansion initiatives, and go-to-market strategies. Ability to translate market insights, customer needs, and competitive intelligence into actionable commercial plans that accelerate revenue growth. Core Competencies: Strategic selling, account penetration, customer engagement, negotiation, pipeline development, forecasting, market development, and cross-functional collaboration. Ability to communicate complex chemical, regulatory, and quality concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior customer and internal stakeholders. Demonstrated capability to shape strategy, influence decisions, and operate effectively in a matrixed global organization. Tools: Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), forecasting and analytical tools (Excel/Power BI), and collaboration platforms (Teams/SharePoint). International Scope & Travel: Experience working across cultures, time zones, and regional business environments in Europe and Asia is strongly preferred. Willingness to travel up to 20-30% across Europe and Asia, with occasional global travel as needed. Success Measures: Success in the role will be defined by sustained regional revenue growth, profitability improvement, stronger strategic customer positioning, and expanded market share.
