About the role
As Housekeeper at Domes Aulus Elounda, you will play a vital part in how our guests experience their stay, keeping guest rooms spotless, fresh and beautifully presented. The role calls for care, dedication and real attention to detail every day.
What you will do
Guest rooms
- Clean, air, disinfect and prepare guest rooms, changing bed linen and towels, and fully reset rooms after guests depart.
- Tidy occupied rooms and replenish guest amenities.
Supplies and equipment
- Check room supplies such as soaps, shampoos and toilet paper, and let your supervisor know what needs ordering.
- Use and look after cleaning equipment correctly.
- Record and report any needs for cleaning supplies and materials.
Health, safety and hygiene
- Follow cleaning procedures in line with health and safety standards.
- Apply strict cleaning and hygiene standards.
- Check for damage or faults and report them to the maintenance team.
Teamwork with front office
- Keep front office updated on room status, such as rooms ready for check in.
- Respond quickly to special guest requests, such as extra bedding.
Requirements
What you will bring
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role in hospitality.
- Good knowledge of cleaning and disinfection procedures.
- A responsible approach and attention to detail.
- Teamwork and good collaboration with all departments.
- The ability to work at a fast pace and stay professional under pressure.
- Good time management and the ability to prioritise.
- Knowledge of English is desirable.
