Your mission
We're looking for a strategic, hands-on People & Culture lead to own how redalpine attracts, develops, and retains exceptional talent. Working closely with the Executive Team, you'll take full ownership of all people matters across our offices in Zug, Berlin and London.From hiring and performance to compensation, culture and people operations, you'll sit at the heart of how a leading venture capital firm is built and led. Your responsibilities
- People Strategy: Act as a thought partner to the Executive Team and GeneralPartners on organisational design, leadership development and firm-wide performance. Convert strategic direction into action and ensure clarity, accountability and alignment as redalpine scales.
- Talent Acquisition: Own end-to-end hiring for redalpine's core team across Europe, from role definition and sourcing strategy to offer and close. Build a pipeline of top-performing talent and raise the bar on every hire.
- Performance & Development: Design and run the performance management cycle, career frameworks and development programmes. Build the feedback culture that keeps a high-performance team growing.
- Compensation & Benefits: Own the compensation framework across all three locations, including benchmarking, review cycles and benefit structures. Ensure decisions are data-driven, transparent and market-competitive.
- People Operations & Employment Law: Own the operational backbone of the people function, including contracts, payroll interfaces, HR systems, policies and employee lifecycle processes. Serve as the internal authority on employment law obligations in Switzerland, Germany and the UK, working with external counsel where needed. Manage and mentor the People Operations team.
- Culture, Workplace & Events: Shape and safeguard redalpine's culture across Zug, Berlin and London, translating values into everyday practice through onboarding and internal communication. Own the workplace and events agenda, from daily office operations to offsites, team formats and client-facing gatherings such as the annual Family Day, with the Office & Team Coordinator leading day-to-day delivery.
- AI Adoption: Champion the exploration and adoption of AI tools to modernise and elevate the People function - bringing a curious, forward-looking mindset to how people work gets done.
Your profile
- Degree from a top-tier university in business, psychology, law or a related field; further HR or leadership qualifications are a plus.
- 5 years plus prior experience in a senior HR, people leadership or other leadership role, ideally within high-growth technology companies, venture capital, private equity or professional services. The ideal candidate has an active network in the European VC and start-up ecosystem.
- Strong command of Swiss employment law and working familiarity with the German and UK employment frameworks.
- Proven track record in scaling organisations and building data-driven, high-performance cultures.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English, written and verbal.
- A sharp people mind who combines analytical rigour, solution-orientation and high emotional intelligence with the drive to get things done in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
