The Health & Safety Advisor will work closely with Operations to develop, implement, and monitor occupational health and operational safety strategies and programs. They will play a key role in developing and maintaining hazardous materials programs, conducting inspections and investigations, and providing recommendations for continuous safety improvements. Responsibilities: Providing input into the development and implementation of the Health & Safety Management System, including the Emergency Management processes. Maintaining and evaluating the Health & Safety Management System on a regular basis. Mentoring, coaching, and supporting front-line staff for the Health & Safety Management System functionality. Supporting and guiding area emergency response plans and exercises Incident response, investigations, and reporting Providing ongoing safety communications to work groups and interacting with various regulatory agencies and contractors. Requirements: Experience in upstream oil & gas operations. CRSP designation or OHS certification is considered an asset. 5-10 years of process and/or occupational safety-related industry experience.
