Job: You will be a core part of the Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategic Finance team. You’ll partner directly with revenue leadership on hiring plans, quota and capacity models, compensation plans, and spend. Additionally, you will help inform complex strategic distribution and customer deals. You’ll turn pipeline, attainment, and unit economics into recommendations that impact the sales organization. You’ll build the operating plan and bookings forecast for the sales org and hold it accountable to them. You’ll bring a financial lens to pricing and packaging across usage-based and committed-spend models, and you’ll set the credits and discount policy, as well as margin targets that the deal desk enforces. You’ll work with the broader Corporate Finance team on sales planning and board reporting. As the function grows, you’ll be instrumental, early, contributor and grow with Parallel.
You: You’ve spent a few years in a high-rigor seat like investment banking or strategy consulting, followed by an investing role at a private equity or growth firm, or a GTM finance role at a high-growth company. You’ve set sales strategy including quotas, building capacity models, and commission plans alongside sales leaders who trusted your numbers. You’ve used AI tools to do real work faster, and you’re eager to find new ways to apply them. You take ownership without being asked, flag problems early, and want to grow into a finance and general business leader at Parallel.
