How You'll Make an Impact
As a Dental Assistant at Lumino Johnsonville, you'll play an important role in ensuring every patient has a positive and comfortable experience.
Primarily working chairside, you'll provide clinical support to our dentists while occasionally assisting with reception and administrative duties to help keep the practice running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing chairside assistance during dental procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
- Maintaining high standards of infection control, sterilisation and clinical room preparation.
- Welcoming patients and assisting with reception duties, including appointment scheduling and patient records.
- Completing administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice through teamwork and clear communication.
We're looking for someone who is friendly, proactive and passionate about providing excellent patient care.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Confidence using computers and practice management software (training will be provided).
- A positive, flexible and team-oriented approach.
- A willingness to learn and contribute across both clinical and reception duties.
Previous dental assisting or reception experience would be an advantage, but it's not essential. Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the right attitude, enthusiasm and a genuine desire to make a difference to our patients.
