About the Role The Sports Facility Consultant (Analyst), with guidance from project managers and senior executives, will be responsible for researching, writing and presenting feasibility studies for clients who are evaluating the possibility of developing, sports, entertainment or attraction facilities. The successful candidate will have an interest in most, and experience in at least one, of the following analytical steps included in a typical feasibility study and must be able to draw insights from research to develop strategic recommendations. For more information on our firm and services, please visit our website at www.cslintl.com WHAT YOU’LL DO (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES) Market, economic, and demographic analysis Analysis of trends within an industry Phone and personal interviews for the purposes of gathering information Development and analysis of surveys and focus groups Analysis of competitive venues Examination of market opportunities Development of detailed financial models Economic and fiscal impacts analysis Evaluation of funding and return on investment metrics Essential Functions Produce well-organized and comprehensive client-ready reports Analyze data from a number of sources and derive commercial insight for clients Build financial models and assess project KPIs Deliver superior client service and meet client needs, commitments and deadlines Proposal and presentation development Analyze local market characteristics, economic trends and demographic information Research sports and entertainment industry trends Interview facility managers to assess performance of their facilities and garner best practice insights Design and implement surveys targeted at event organizers, show promoters, and venue managers to evaluate demand potential for proposed or expanding facilities Develop comprehensive comparative analyses between proposed facilities and existing facilities that feature similar building and market characteristics Meet on-site with clients Work with senior staff to develop facility recommendations for organizations wishing to expand existing or build new facilities Work with senior staff to develop demand projections and financial forecasts for such facilities Maintain and enhance database and industry contacts WHAT YOU BRING (QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE) To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels.
