Implementation Specialist

Location: Kansas City metro preferred; remote within the U.S. considered

About Daupler
Serving millions of citizens across the U.S., Daupler helps the professionals who run essential services deliver faster, more reliable operations, whether responding to a burst water main, flagging contaminated drinking water, or keeping customers informed during a power restoration. We are the infrastructure for customer service excellence: a utility within a utility. Backed by leading investors and growing quickly, we’re looking for mission-driven people to help bring American infrastructure, and government, into the 21st century.

About the Role
The Implementation Specialist is where the customer relationship comes to life after the deal is signed. You’ll guide new customers from signed contract to full production — configuring our platform to fit their operations, coordinating across teams, and making sure every customer’s first experience with Daupler is a great one. This is a customer-facing, consultative role: you’ll listen closely to understand each customer’s needs, communicate the value of what we do in terms that matter to them, and represent Daupler throughout onboarding. Strong implementations build trust, deepen adoption, and open the door to growth, and you’ll be central to all three.

This is fundamentally a people role. We can teach the technology; we’re looking for someone who connects with customers and keeps complex work organized and on track.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with our Customer Support, Account Management, and Sales teams to take customers from signed contract to production
  • Work directly with customers to configure our software to meet their specific needs
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and the face of Daupler during onboarding, building strong relationships and communicating our value clearly and consultatively
  • Listen first to understand each customer’s operations, then translate how Daupler solves their challenges
  • Partner with Engineering to facilitate and troubleshoot configuration
  • Work with internal stakeholders to report on scope, and advise on new features that better support customers
  • Surface opportunities to deepen adoption and flag potential expansion internally
  • Maintain disciplined, well-organized records of implementation progress, timelines, and customer interactions

What We’re Looking For
The strongest candidates bring:

  • A people-first approach: exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build trust with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organization: you manage multiple implementations, timelines, and details at once without letting things slip. You have a familiarity with project and task management tools: (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • A consultative, commercial mindset: comfort understanding customer needs and communicating value, with an eye for opportunities to help customers get more from the platform.
  • Project management experience: solid planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Technical aptitude: familiarity with, or a genuine willingness to learn, customer integration technologies. Hands-on experience is a plus, not a prerequisite.
  • Creative problem-solving: comfort working under pressure, and a flexible, adaptable mindset.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and initiative.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range based on experience and location
  • Flexible, casual work environment
  • Unlimited paid time off
  • Amazing medical, dental and vision options for you and your family
  • The resources and support you need to do your best work

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
