We're looking for an HR Officer to join our People, Safety & Culture team in Kilburn, SA.
This part-time role is approximately 20-25 hours per week, and we're flexible on how you work them (full days, part days across the week, or a mix of both).
Our HR system (Rippling) gives us a streamlined process for recruitment, onboarding, engagement and offboarding across the employment lifecycle. You'll be well supported by an experienced People, Safety & Culture team, with real scope to grow your HR skills.
We're also recruiting a part-time Payroll Officer, and both are genuine, ongoing positions in their own right. For the right person, we can combine the two into a full-time Payroll & HR Officer role. Each option is scoped on its own, and our People, Safety & Culture team can adjust around whichever structure works for the right candidate/s.
Your new role:
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you'll support approximately 350 employees nationally by:
- Supporting recruitment through creating job requisitions, posting job advertisements and promoting roles internally
- Short-listing and phone screening candidates, booking interviews and coordinating pre-employment medicals
- Supporting employee onboarding and engagement throughout the employee lifecycle
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records and filing

Already experienced in a generalist or recruitment role? You’ll hit the ground running, with career growth available as our team and business expand.
You will bring:
- Experience in an HR administration, recruitment coordination or comparable role with transferrable skills
- Experience using an HR information system or other similar platforms
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential information
- Clear, friendly verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously
