At JazzSure Insurance, the Finance function plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, transparency, and strong reporting standards across the organization.
As Associate – Financial Reporting, you will support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, GL reconciliations, financial closing activities, and audit requirements while working closely with Finance teams to maintain accurate and complete financial records.
Requirements
What you'll own
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
- General Ledger Reconciliations: Perform GL reconciliations, investigate variances and outstanding balances, and ensure the integrity of accounting records.
- Month-End & Year-End Close: Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accounting adjustments, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Financial Statements & Management Reporting: Prepare supporting schedules, analyses, and workings for financial statements and management reporting requirements.
- Audit & Compliance Support: Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing reconciliations, documentation, and audit schedules.
- Process Improvement & Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with Finance teams to resolve reporting issues and contribute to continuous improvement of reporting and accounting processes.

- Financial reports are prepared accurately and delivered within established reporting timelines.
- GL reconciliations are completed promptly, with discrepancies and variances identified and resolved effectively.
- Month-end and year-end closing activities are executed efficiently, with accurate accounting adjustments and supporting records.
- Financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules are reliable, complete, and well-documented.
- Audit requests are addressed efficiently, with required schedules and documentation readily available.
- Reporting processes continue to improve through enhanced controls, collaboration, and operational efficiencies.
You may be a strong fit if you
- Hold or are pursuing CA Inter, ACCA Finalist, ICMA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Bring 1–3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting or accounting, preferably within insurance, financial services, or a corporate environment.
- Are a newly qualified ACCA professional with relevant audit, accounting, or finance experience.
- Possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and reporting practices.
- Have strong working knowledge of MS Excel and experience with ERP or accounting systems.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to meet reporting deadlines.
