Discover a unique opportunity to lead Fern Ridge School District—where rural character meets the beauty of the Willamette Valley, and the district seeks a leader ready to build on its strengths and help shape its future.
Imagine a community where outdoor adventure is close to home, local traditions bring people together, and a small-town way of life is balanced with convenient access to Eugene-Springfield. At the heart of this community is the Fern Ridge School District. Serving Elmira, Veneta, Noti, and Walton, this charming place offers a distinctive blend of rural living, small-town connection, and access to the opportunities of a larger metropolitan area.
The region’s natural beauty is part of its everyday appeal. Fern Ridge Reservoir invites boating, fishing, and time on the water. The Fern Ridge Wildlife Area offers peaceful walking paths and opportunities to enjoy the landscape along the Long Tom River. Local parks, Veneta’s community amenities, and the celebrated Oregon Country Fair add to the area’s distinctive character.
Here, neighbors know one another, families are invested in their schools, and community involvement is an important part of daily life. The district’s dedicated educators, mindful stewardship of resources, and steadfast devotion to student growth present a rare chance to contribute to something that matters deeply to the people who call this region home.
We are seeking a Superintendent who will embrace the community, invest in relationships, and lead with integrity, transparency, and a clear commitment to student success. If you believe strong schools are built through trust, high expectations, and sound stewardship — and you are ready for a superintendent role where your leadership can help shape the future of a district —we invite you to explore Fern Ridge.
