Job description:
Carpenter – Residential Restoration & Remodeling
Join a Growing Team and Put Your Carpentry Skills to Work!
Are you a skilled carpenter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoys seeing the results of your hard work? Do you enjoy working on different projects rather than doing the same thing every day?
We are partnering with a growing restoration company looking to add a dependable, hardworking Carpenter to its team!
In this role, you'll work on residential properties that have experienced damage from water, fire, storms, or other unexpected events. You'll play an important part in helping homeowners restore, repair, and rebuild their homes.
We're looking for someone who has hands-on carpentry or remodeling experience, pays attention to detail, and enjoys working as part of a team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform residential carpentry, repairs, and reconstruction following property damage.
- Install and repair drywall, trim, molding, doors, flooring, cabinets, and other interior finishes.
- Complete framing, finish carpentry, and general remodeling projects.
- Assist with restoring residential properties affected by water, fire, or storm damage.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials using hand and power tools.
- Work alongside project managers and other team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
- Communicate with team members regarding project progress, materials, and any potential challenges.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in carpentry, residential construction, remodeling, or restoration.
- Experience with framing, drywall, trim work, flooring, or general home repairs.
- Ability to safely and confidently operate hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, hardworking, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Previous restoration or reconstruction experience is a plus, but not required!
Why Join Our Team?
- Variety in Your Work: Every project is different, giving you the opportunity to use and expand your skills.
- Meaningful Work: Help homeowners rebuild and restore their properties after unexpected damage.
- Supportive Team Environment: Work alongside experienced professionals who value teamwork and quality craftsmanship.
- Growth Opportunities: Continue developing your skills with a growing company.
- Stable Career Opportunity: Build a long-term career in an essential, service-driven industry.
