What you’ll do Sales & Marketing Management: Lead sales and marketing activities for OE and Aftermarket business in the Western Region (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa), driving business growth and meeting company KPIs. Customer Engagement: Conduct regular visits and techno-commercial discussions with customers to understand their needs, provide technical support, and close orders successfully. Business Development: Identify new markets, trends, and business opportunities to expand Weir’s presence and revenue in the region. Performance Monitoring: Provide weekly updates on new business opportunities, customer feedback, and sales progress to internal teams for strategic alignment. Receivables & Dealer Management: Manage receivables efficiently and maintain strong relationships with dealers to ensure smooth operations. Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with regional, engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to meet customer requirements and deliver solutions. Travel Requirements: Regular travel within the Western Region to meet customers and support sales activities. Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture. What you’ll bring Must-haves: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mineral Processing Engineering, or equivalent. 2–4 years of relevant sales experience in pumps, slurry pumps, mineral processing, mining, or industrial equipment. Strong customer-facing skills with experience in techno-commercial discussions and business development. Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage receivables effectively. Nice-to-haves: Experience working in the Western Region market (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa). Knowledge of slurry pumps and mineral processing products. Familiarity with dealer management and sales promotional activities. Exposure to lean and safety practices within industrial environments. Why join Weir?
