We are looking for a research fellow specialized in fractional quantum Hall systems. The role will focus on the study of topological properties in strongly correlated systems. This job requires expertise in topological phases of matter, strongly correlated systems and quantum numerical simulations, in particular related to the fractional quantum Hall effect and fractional Chern insulator. We would like to explore the fundamental aspects of such topological systems and understand the proper conditions for them to be realized in experiments. The job will involve the development of new mathematical tools and/or large scale numerical analysis of correlated systems. Key Responsibilities: Theoretical development of the microscopic theory, as well as both analytic and numerical tools for studying the fractional quantum Hall effect.
