We are looking for a Technical Product Owner to lead the technology products supporting manufacturing engineering and enablement across our global manufacturing network. The portfolio spans quality and maintenance processes, equipment reliability, industrial digitalization, manufacturing data and cross-domain capabilities used across manufacturing, warehousing and quality operations. Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Partner for Manufacturing, you will connect manufacturing priorities with technology strategy and delivery. You will work across Business Product Owners, manufacturing and engineering stakeholders, quality teams, GTS delivery teams, solution architects, vendors and system integration partners. This is a senior technology product leadership role. You will shape the product roadmap, identify capability gaps, evaluate technology solutions and create reusable digital products that improve quality, compliance, asset reliability and manufacturing performance. A key part of the role will be enabling digital transformation through capabilities such as industrial IoT, connected operations, advanced analytics and AI. What You’ll Do Manufacturing Engineering & Enablement Product Strategy & Roadmap Translate business outcomes and manufacturing capability needs into a clear technical product roadmap, investment priorities and delivery plan. Own the technology roadmap and platform priorities supporting quality, maintenance, equipment reliability, calibration, engineering and manufacturing enablement. Identify capability gaps across manufacturing processes and create reusable technology products that can operate across multiple sites and process areas. Establish common technology foundations that improve standardization and enable future digital manufacturing initiatives. Platform Evaluation, Technology Selection & Enablement Lead technical product evaluations, RFI/RFP activities and platform selection for quality, maintenance and manufacturing enablement technologies. Conduct technical due diligence, fit-gap analysis, integration assessments and architecture evaluations to inform investment decisions. Guide platform adoption and lifecycle decisions, promoting standardization and reuse while controlling customization and technical debt. Evaluate emerging technologies that can improve productivity, product quality, compliance and operational performance. Product Governance & Global Standards Establish product guardrails and provide decision leadership for significant technology and solution-design outcomes. Define reusable global standards and technical templates for quality, maintenance, engineering and cross-domain manufacturing capabilities. Ensure solutions are scalable, supportable, reusable and aligned with enterprise architecture, security and quality standards. Work with business stakeholders, architects, delivery teams, vendors and implementation partners to maintain consistent product governance while allowing justified business variation. Solution Delivery, Quality & Compliance Own and prioritize the technical backlog across quality and maintenance systems, engineering applications, analytics, integrations, cybersecurity, technical enablers and technical debt. Manage product decisions, risks, dependencies, trade-offs and technical constraints throughout delivery and the ongoing product lifecycle. Ensure solutions support regulatory compliance, validation, auditability, traceability and data-integrity requirements. Partner with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, computer system validation and manufacturing teams to ensure compliant implementation and operation. Hold delivery teams, vendors and partners accountable for sustainable, supportable and high-quality outcomes. Manufacturing Capability Enablement Partner with manufacturing leaders to identify current and future technology needs across quality, engineering, maintenance and operational excellence. Create technical products that can be reused across manufacturing sites, value streams and process domains. Define integration and data strategies that improve connectivity and information flow among manufacturing platforms. Enable digital and increasingly autonomous manufacturing through scalable capabilities such as connected work, industrial data, analytics and AI. Value Realization & Adoption Work with Business Product Owners to define product outcomes, adoption objectives, success measures and value-realization targets. Monitor adoption, operational outcomes and performance measures to identify opportunities for improvement. Use data, analytics and stakeholder feedback to guide roadmap priorities and future technology investments. Product Lifecycle & Vendor Management Define long-term lifecycle strategies for manufacturing engineering and enablement platforms. Align technology roadmaps with vendor strategies and manufacturing priorities. Lead strategic vendor relationships, technical escalations and capability-planning activities. Maintain platform sustainability through effective release, upgrade, support and technical-debt management. Innovation & Product Leadership Assess emerging capabilities in AI, industrial analytics, connected-worker solutions, predictive maintenance, industrial IoT, digital twins and advanced quality technologies. Identify practical opportunities to improve manufacturing performance, quality, compliance and asset reliability through innovation. Influence senior business and GTS stakeholders on investment choices, roadmap priorities and product trade-offs. Build a collaborative product culture focused on business value, standardization, quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
