Job Title: Field Service Technician Location: Derby or Nottingham – Field Work Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 depending on experience Hours: 42.5 per week across 5days with weekend work on rota basis ABOUT THE ROLE: In this role, you will carry out on-site ATM repairs and maintenance, as well as provide guarding support during cash removals, ensuring the safety of personnel, cash assets, and equipment at all times. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnose faults and perform repair or replacement of ATM modules on-site Install, maintain, and repair equipment within an assigned territory/region Take ownership of customer issues or incidents, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with Service Level Agreements Carry out work with adherence to the Health & Safety Policy Comply with NCR Atleos Security Policy, and all current security protocols Role may involve prolonged travel, lifting and carrying toolkits/parts of varying weights, and bending, squatting, walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods Full training and equipment provided. Company vehicle available for personal use (fuel card included; BIK and mileage usage fee per mile apply) KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Full UK manual driving license Hold a valid SIA CViT license or be willing to undertake training (paid by the company) Strong local geographical knowledge Experience in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair Basic computer hardware and software knowledge Experience with Windows operating systems Experience in general PC hardware and software maintenance High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude PIA licences desirable, but if you don’t hold one, it will be provided Excellent interpersonal skills and customer facing relationship skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, quick learner, and capable of performing well under pressure PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NOT ESSENTIAL): NCR/Wincor ATMs experience Previous Field Based experience Previous Engineering experience PLEASE NOTE: All successful candidates will need to provide a traceable work and education history, complete a criminal record and credit background check.
