Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused Dutch-speaking Customer Support Representative to support a renovation business by managing incoming calls and messages during opening hours.
You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring every inquiry is handled professionally, recorded accurately, and directed to the right person. Rather than simply forwarding messages, you will take ownership of the customer interaction, provide clear next steps, and book calls with the relevant team members.
This role is ideal for someone with customer service or call center experience who is comfortable using CRM software and can remain calm and organized when handling customer concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and messages promptly during opening hours, ensuring customers can speak with a real person.
- Listen carefully to customer inquiries, take clear and accurate notes in GoHighLevel, and explain what happens next.
- Route inquiries to the appropriate team member, including sales, the project coordinator, or the business owner.
- Book calls directly into the relevant person's calendar instead of simply forwarding messages.
- Identify and immediately escalate urgent issues on active renovation projects, such as water leaks, incorrect materials, or wrong tiles installed on-site.
- Follow the client's written manual and established procedures when handling customer interactions.
- Ensure every customer inquiry is followed up on and resolved or handed over appropriately.
- Maintain clear communication with the internal team to ensure customers receive timely updates.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, a call center, or a customer-facing support role.
- Fluent in Dutch, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
- Calm, friendly, and confident on the phone, including when dealing with frustrated customers.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to take accurate notes while managing conversations.
- Comfortable using software and digital tools; previous CRM experience is an advantage.
- Experience with GoHighLevel (GHL) is a significant plus.
- Reliable, organized, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership over customer inquiries.
- Able to follow written procedures while using good judgment to identify urgent situations.
- Strong follow-up skills and a commitment to ensuring no customer inquiry gets overlooked.
