SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the clinical director and Assistant Chief of Psychology, who reports to the Chief of Adult Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Brown University Health, the psychologist evaluates and treats patients, providing a full range of psychological services including psychological assessment and psychotherapy. Assists with Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance Initiatives consistent with Brown University Health principles. Candidates may be eligible for a faculty appointment through the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. For those with faculty appointments, some teaching and supervision of trainees will be required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: PhD in Clinical Psychology or the equivalent (e.g., PsyD, PhD or EdD in Counseling Psychology). Completion of an American Psychological Association accredited Internship. Postdoctoral Fellowship (minimum 1 year) if required by state of licensure. Licensed to practice or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Rhode Island and/or Massachusetts (as required based on practice location).
