Proven ability to research and prepare accurate technical documents and present findings to clients and regulatory agencies. Strong technical writing, verbal communication, and analytical skills. Experience with federal, state, and local permitting for development projects. Ability to multi-task, travel frequently, and work independently with minimal supervision. Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Preferred Background in natural sciences with expertise in FERC application filings for natural gas projects. Experience developing permitting strategies and documents for FERC. Familiarity with NEPA environmental siting and impact assessments for energy infrastructure projects. GIS proficiency and ability to interpret maps (National Wetland Inventory, USGS, aerial photography). Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities Serve as lead author on FERC resource reports and impact assessment deliverables. Research, analyze, and compile data for permit applications and regulatory reports. Act as a subject matter expert on large-scale projects, managing scope, planning, and health & safety aspects. Support technical proposals and contribute to business development initiatives.
