About the role
Who you are
We’re looking for AI and Software Engineers to join our product team. We’re 12 engineers, a few designers and a couple of product managers, working as one unit across initiatives that support our product strategy. Together, we figure out where each of us can make the biggest impact, and that shifts as our initiatives change.
Everyone on the team builds and ships features. You take ownership, get things done and learn new tools quickly. You care about the product and the people who use it. You’re comfortable joining customer and prospect meetings, and you use what you learn to solve their needs.
We’re hiring for three roles:
Software Engineer
You might be fresh out of university, a few years into your career or looking for a place where you can take on more than your job description allows. You’re curious and keen to learn, including the procurement domain we work in.
You likely have:
A degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Experience building software through studies, side projects, internships or work.
Hands-on experience building with AI tools.
Bonus points for experience from a startup, student organization or project where your role was broader than the title.
Senior Software Engineer, Platform & Security
You bring experience in cloud infrastructure and security, and you’re someone others turn to for input on infrastructure, security and authorization. When you look at a cloud setup, you quickly see how it can improve, and you know how to fix it. Our engineers do a lot of infrastructure work themselves, so you help out, educate and spread the good word on how to make our systems more secure, reliable and well designed.
You likely have:
4+ years of experience building and operating SaaS products.
Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider. We use Google Cloud.
A good understanding of how services depend on each other, and how to make them reliable, fast and cost-efficient.
A track record of improving the infrastructure you work on.
Bonus points for strong knowledge of security, authentication and authorization in distributed systems.
Applied AI Engineer
You have a keen interest and experience working with AI features. You understand how models work, how to get the most out of them and how to tell when the output is good enough for customers.
Companies have processed more than €500B in spend with Ignite, and we’re turning that into the strongest procurement data foundation in the Nordics. You help us get the most out of that data. You know how to set up benchmarks, you understand the evidence we need behind them and you can explain to a customer what a number means and why we calculated it that way.
You’re eager about AI, and you stay eager. What works today may be outdated in a few months, so you keep learning as new models and capabilities come out.
You likely have:
Experience building and shipping SaaS products.
Hands-on experience building features with LLMs, such as prompting, retrieval, agents and evaluation.
A solid grounding in statistics or quantitative methods.
Bonus points for experience working with large datasets and SQL.
For all roles
You likely have:
A product mindset: you care about why we build something as much as how.
Clear communication skills.
Bonus points for experience with procurement or enterprise ERP systems.
If you don’t match every point, apply anyway. Leave it to us to see where you fit.
What you’ll be doing
Build and ship features across the product as part of our empowered product team.
Own problems from idea to production.
Work closely with our commercial team in customer and prospect conversations.
Depending on your role, you’ll also:
Software Engineer: Learn and grow through feedback and pairing with experienced engineers.
Senior Software Engineer, Platform & Security: Make our infrastructure faster, cheaper and more secure, and raise the bar for how we build and operate.
Applied AI Engineer: Turn our data foundation into new functionality: benchmarks, more granular insights and features customers can act on. Make our AI features better as new models come out, and make sure we can explain the results to customers.
Our stack
Frontend: React
Backend: Golang and TypeScript, GraphQL federation and gRPC
Infrastructure: Serverless on Google Cloud Run and Cloud Functions, Temporal for workflow orchestration
Storage and data: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, BigQuery and event-driven pipelines
AI tooling: Whatever works best. Right now, that’s mostly Claude Code
