Lead a Newly Opened International Hotel in the Heart of Central Asia

Mercure Khiva, a newly opened 146-room international hotel in the historic city of Khiva, Uzbekistan, is looking for an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead its next stage of development.
Located in one of Central Asia’s most remarkable cultural destinations, Mercure Khiva offers a unique opportunity to strengthen the hotel's market positioning and establish operational excellence in line with Accor standards.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring consistent service quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with Mercure brand standards.
Drive commercial performance, revenue growth, profitability, and effective cost management.
Establish strong operational processes and ensure smooth day-to-day hotel management.
Lead, develop, and motivate a multicultural team, building a strong service culture and high employee engagement.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, and key operational indicators.
Strengthen the hotel's market position and reputation while building relationships with owners, business partners, and local stakeholders.
Work closely with regional Accor teams to ensure alignment with brand expectations and business objectives.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager within an international hotel chain, preferably in the midscale or premium segment, with proven experience managing complex hotel operations, ideally including multiple F&B outlets, spa and leisure facilities.
Strong hands-on operational background, with proven experience managing hotel operations, financial performance, cost optimization, and service standards.
Previous experience in Central Asia or the CIS region is highly preferred, with an understanding of regional business practices and cultural environments.
Proven ability to lead newly opened hotels through their initial operational and commercial development stages.
Strong business acumen, financial management skills, and a results-oriented approach.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in English is essential; Russian language skills would be a strong advantage.
