Salary: £30,654 – £32,292 per year

We’re seeking a reliable, skilled, and solution-focused Building Maintenance Technician to join the team. In this role, you’ll carry out general repairs, support planned preventative maintenance, respond to departmental requests, and uphold the safety, compliance, and presentation standards that define Gilpin. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and contributing to a supportive, high-performing hospitality operation.
✨ Your Role as Building Maintenance Technician
Carries out day-to-day building maintenance, repairs, and minor installations across the estate.
Supports planned preventative maintenance to keep facilities safe, compliant, and functioning smoothly.
Responds to maintenance requests with efficiency, care, and a focus on the guest journey.
Ensures all equipment, systems, and spaces meet safety and compliance standards.
Assists with upkeep of grounds, spa facilities, and accommodation areas as required.
Maintains accurate records, completes checklists, and reports issues promptly.
Works collaboratively with Estates colleagues, contractors, and suppliers.
Upholds the high standards of presentation that define the Gilpin guest experience.
