The Role
Working closely with our chefs, you will help ensure the kitchen is fully prepared for service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, and other ingredients
- Completing daily mise en place
- Preparing basic stocks, sauces, garnishes, and other food items
- Portioning, labelling, and storing food correctly
- Assisting with deliveries and stock rotation
- Keeping preparation areas clean, organised, and ready for service
- Following HACCP, food safety, and allergen procedures at all times
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, organised, and hardworking
- Comfortable working as part of a busy kitchen team
- Particular about cleanliness and food hygiene
- Able to work efficiently and consistently
- Interested in food and keen to learn
Previous kitchen experience or food safety/HACCP training would be an advantage.
