Engineering Manager, Reporting Horizons.

Asana has an ambitious goal to bring reporting into the agentic era, and make it fast for every Asana product line to deliver great reporting experiences. We're starting Reporting Horizons, a new team in Warsaw, to accelerate our progress toward that goal.

The charter spans both product and platform. You'll collaborate with the Reporting Foundations team in New York to deliver agentic dashboards and a reporting platform every Asana product line can adopt quickly. Together, the two teams co-own the stack from frontend components to the database.

This role is based in our Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you'll achieve

• Build a new engineering team in Warsaw from the ground up, hiring talented engineers, and helping each engineer grow in their career.
• Guide architecture across the stack and coach engineers to make sound technical calls.
• Establish strong planning and delivery practices, so the team can ship agentic dashboards and platform capabilities quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Work cross-functionally with Product Management and Design, as well as the product teams that build on our platform, to define priorities and deliver intuitive capabilities.
• Champion accountability for key outcomes, linking your team's everyday work to Asana's broader strategic goals.
• Partner closely with the New York team to align on roadmap, ownership boundaries, and technical direction

About you

• Experience leading engineering teams that build scalable web applications, with a deep understanding of software architecture, and a knack for coaching engineers through complex technical tradeoffs.
• Experience building strong delivery practices that help teams ship predictably.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, and excitement about building AI-native products.
• Proven track record of collaborating effectively with Product Managers and Designers to balance technical health with user velocity.
• Clear communicator and supportive leader who builds trust, gives direct feedback, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between 34 000 - 39 000 PLN gross per month (subject to all taxes and necessary deductions). The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity and sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
