Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Resolve field service cases and support failure investigations Assist Senior Engineers to develop and implement new designs and design improvements Execute and document subsystem and component/software validation test plans. Evaluate power circuit protection and coordination. Participate in FMEA and risk assessment and root cause analysis activities. Provide technical clarification of designs with suppliers, manufacturing, and services teams. Test and qualify components/firmware for production and resolve issues as needed to maintain product quality. Required Qualifications Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Knowledge of electrical distribution, power electronics, or control system design. Desired Characteristics Highly motivated, self-starter, energetic, positive, flexible in changing environments. Ability to demonstrate a structured approach to problem solving, learning agility. Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams in an international environment. Proficiency in MS Office tools Related electrical engineering experience through Co-Op or University classwork. Familiarity with power electronics and control systems Familiarity with wind turbine or photovoltaic system technologies. Familiarity with Instrumentation and measurement of power converters. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
