As a Senior Risk Management Advisor for Desjardins entities, you’re a strategic partner to the chief risk officer of the entities you support and you help advance the risk management framework. You conduct analyses that add value, make strategic recommendations and help develop approaches, directions and practices to strengthen the management of financial and non-financial risks. You work on highly complex files, projects and initiatives involving operational, regulatory and conceptual challenges. These assignments require a deep understanding of Desjardins entities’ business environment, governance challenges and strategic priorities. In an environment that requires extensive coordination across a diverse range of contributors, you provide guidance, coordination and advice to senior management, decision-making bodies and various business partners. Your success depends on your ability to bring people together, exercise sound judgment and build trust. You act as a risk management subject matter expert and strategic partner to senior management and decision-making bodies. In this role, you advise, influence and guide on matters with significant strategic, regulatory and organizational implications.
