Regional Mobility Immigration Partner.

FULL TIMEPEOPLE & OPS

The Regional Mobility Partner owns end-to-end delivery of international assignments and cross-border moves within an assigned region, acting as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, country HR teams and external vendors across the mobility lifecycle and sponsored employment.

The role also supports and coordinates Arvato USA's employer-sponsored immigration program, working closely with US HR and external immigration counsel. The scope will include retained in-house immigration activities, while appropriate administrative and case-processing activities may be delivered through external providers as the operating model develops.

YOUR TASKS

  •
  • Oversee end-to-end international assignments, permanent transfers, short-term assignments, and cross-border moves within the assigned region, from initiation through repatriation or localization.

  • Manage Arvato USA's employer-sponsored immigration program in partnership with US HR, management, and external immigration counsel, overseeing case strategy, documentation, filings, case tracking, and adjudication.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for employees, managers, recruiters, HR Business Partners, and country HR teams, providing guidance on mobility solutions, immigration requirements, sponsorship feasibility, timelines, and obligations.

  • Ensure immigration and global mobility compliance with applicable legislation, company policies, and COE standards, including visa and work permits, tax, payroll, social security, and assignment requirements. Monitor deadlines, expirations, and compliance risks, escalating complex matters as appropriate.

  • Coordinate all assignment-related activities, including approvals, employee briefings, onboarding, extensions, repatriation, employment documentation, and coordination with Home and Host Country HR teams.

  • Manage relationships and day-to-day coordination with external immigration, relocation, tax, and payroll providers, including service delivery, cost estimates, invoice validation, and issue resolution.

  • Maintain accurate case records, reporting, and metrics, providing stakeholders with visibility into case progress, costs, compliance risks, and workforce planning considerations.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve regional mobility and immigration processes, policies, and tools in collaboration with the Center of Excellence (COE), while providing regional expertise and supporting new process rollouts.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Public Administration, or a related field required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate immigration, Global Mobility, HR compliance, legal sponsorship operations, or immigration case management, including managing international assignments or employment-based immigration programs for U.S. employers.

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment-based immigration, including nonimmigrant visa petitions, PERM, USCIS filing procedures, DOL regulations, and employment-based permanent residency processes.

  • Working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian immigration, payroll, tax, and social security principles, with experience partnering directly with immigration law firms and external service providers.

  • Strong project coordination, case management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work autonomously on vendor coordination, documentation, and case management within an established Center of Excellence (COE) governance framework.

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Disability Pay.
  • 401(k) with company matching up to 6%.
  • Paid Time Off, including paid holidays.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts.
  • Voluntary benefits such as legal and financial assistance, pet insurance, and more.
  • Employee Assistance Program.
  • Ongoing employee development opportunities including tuition reimbursement, scholarships, and training.
