Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a in Specialist – General Ledger in Chennai. What a typical day looks like: Analyze Various nature of accounts in the GL Module. Review and Prepare various entries in GL Module (Amortizations, Accruals, Allocations etc.) Review Reconciliation of Sub-module vs Trial balance. Review, Reconcile and Resolve Intercompany Variances. Extract Reports from the Reporting tool to perform reporting commentary/analysis. Prepare schedules to Balance Sheet as per GAAP Requirements Support various audits in providing transaction analysis, reconciliation for timely completion. Support Corporate Accounting & Tax team for timely completion of statutory filings. Collaborate with various internal teams to follow-up and close GL Module in ERP. Willingness to work in complex environment with strict deadlines on projects. Exposure to various financials automation/data projects will be an edge over others. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: M Com / MBA(Finance) / CMA (Intermediate) / ACA (Intermediate) Deeper understanding of various Accounting Standards (US/IFRS/Ind AS). Basic understanding of various audits/taxes applicable. Good written/oral communication skills in English. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP Systems. Basic exposure to MS presentation Skills. Good analytical skills and should be a team player. Flexible to work in shifts.
