Renesas is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Manager, Digital Engineering Automation to lead the transformation of hardware engineering through automation, AI, reusable digital assets, and engineering knowledge platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that modernize hardware engineering development practices.
Identify emerging technologies and methodologies that can accelerate digital engineering innovation across Renesas.
Lead the development of engineering automation platforms supporting PCB design, board development, compliance engineering, and embedded systems workflows.
Establish AI-enabled automation standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across engineering organizations.
Promote adoption of automation technologies that improve productivity and reduce manual engineering effort.
Establish and scale an enterprise Digital Asset Factory for reusable engineering assets, models, reference implementations, and engineering knowledge.
Define lifecycle management, governance, quality standards, and reuse strategies for digital engineering assets.
Drive integration of engineering knowledge systems with Central Workspace and related engineering platforms.
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to deliver automation expertise for Digital Hardware design.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, technical excellence, continuous learning, and engineering leadership.
Provide strategic leadership for the India-based Digitalization organization while collaborating with global stakeholders.
Partner with Hardware Engineering teams, Product Groups, and Central Workspace stakeholders to accelerate adoption and business impact.
Promote engineering reuse, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams.
Influence the future direction of engineering tools, automation platforms, and digital engineering capabilities within Renesas.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 18+ years of experience in hardware engineering, software engineering, engineering platforms, digital engineering, engineering tools, automation, or related technical domains.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Proven experience leading large-scale engineering transformation and technology modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of AI enabled hardware development workflows, including PCB design, embedded systems, board development, compliance engineering, and validation.
- Experience defining technology strategies, organizational roadmaps, and cross-functional execution plans.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across global engineering organizations.
- Experience developing engineering automation platforms and workflow orchestration solutions.
- Experience with engineering knowledge systems, digital asset management platforms, and reusable engineering frameworks.
- Experience implementing engineering standardization, governance, and reuse strategies.
