Job Title: Material Handler I - 1st Shift Job Description: Entegris is currently seeking a Material Handler to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division in San Luis Obispo, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for kitting of material, internal movements of inventory, stocking/restocking of material, and performing cycle counts. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions. ***This is a 1st shift position, working 7am-3:30pm. What You’ll Do: Move raw materials to the appropriate workstations throughout the plant. With instruction, complete SAP (warehouse management system) transactions. Complete specified functions of 6S responsibilities. Specifically, sort, set in order, shine, sustain, safety. Put product away physically into location and in SAP. Support inventory control by conducting weekly cycle counts and delegated inventory tasks. Kit finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from orders utilizing a combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy. Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Work as part of a team. What We Seek: High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous warehousing experience preferred. Ability to lift and/or move up to 40lbs daily. Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time. Astute attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment. Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly. Basic computer and data entry skills.
