The Opportunity
The Sanitation Associate Level 1 is responsible for performing basic cleaning and sanitation tasks in a food manufacturing environment to ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This role supports the facility’s food safety and quality programs by maintaining a clean and sanitary production environment.

What You'll Do
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, utensils, and facility areas.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning under supervision.
- Clean floors, drains, walls, and other designated areas.
- Follow established Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
- Properly handle and use cleaning chemicals according to Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Complete required sanitation documentation accurately and timely.
- Identify and report maintenance or food safety concerns to supervisor.
- Safely operate basic sanitation tools and equipment (hoses, foamers, brushes, squeegees).
- Dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.
- Support pre-operational inspections as directed.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Comply with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, SQF, and company policies.
- Follow all workplace safety rules including Lockout/Tagout awareness (as applicable).
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic literacy skills required (ability to read instructions and complete forms).
- Sanitation experience preferred but not required.
- Experience in food manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred

Compensation
- $18.00/ hour
