Job Summary Personal Trainer – Per Diem Schedule: Per Diem - Variable shifts Pay Range: $18.78–$34.81 per hour, based on experience. Summary: Responsible for designing, implementing, and supervising individualized fitness programs for patients with varying medical conditions. Collaborates with healthcare professionals to promote overall health, support rehabilitation, and enhance recovery through exercise and wellness initiatives. In addition to providing personal training, this role also includes customer service responsibilities for the facility under the role of Fitness Specialist. The Fitness Specialist portion requires 15 hours per week in addition to the per diem Trainer hours. Qualifications Essential Functions: Conduct initial fitness assessments to evaluate patients' physical capabilities and limitations. -Collaborate with healthcare providers to understand patient medical histories and rehabilitation needs. -Design individualized exercise and rehabilitation programs based on assessment results and patient goals. -Modify programs as needed to accommodate changes in patients' conditions or progress. -Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and safety protocols. -Provide ongoing support, motivation, and encouragement to patients throughout their fitness journey. Education Degree: High School Field of Study Required/Preferred And/or Associate's degree Exercise Specialist preferred or Bachelor's Degree Kinesiology preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
