Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing reception duties, including greeting patients, answering calls, booking appointments and coordinating patient flow.
- Delivering a welcoming and positive patient experience.
- Dedicating one day per week to Practice Manager responsibilities, overseeing practice operations and administration.
- Supporting the team with rostering, performance, training and general operational tasks.
- Monitoring practice performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting clinicians and Dental Assistants to ensure the practice runs efficiently.
- Stepping in as a Dental Assistant when required to support clinical operations.
- Ensuring clinical rooms are prepared, stocked and maintained to a high standard.
- Supporting infection control, sterilisation and compliance procedures.
- Building strong relationships with patients, clinicians and the wider support team.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Previous management experience in healthcare, medical, dental or a similar service-based environment.
- Experience in reception, administration or customer service.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to support a busy team.
- A genuine commitment to patient care and delivering excellent service.
- The flexibility to move between reception, clinical support and management responsibilities.
