High volume cooking experience Flexibility to manage special dietary requirements Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene standards Trade qualification in Commercial cooking and experience in fine dining or Hotels (preferred) Current FSS Certificate (Food Safety Supervisor) Roster management and working within approved budget while the head chef is away Be part of the leadership team in ensuring a superior dining service Maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff Previous experience in an aged care facility or bistro/hotel; ideally five years or more (desirable) An ability to work a multidisciplinary team within a fast-paced environment Ability to lead under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus, with an ability to implement change and drive a strong team culture; National Police Certificate NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
