Assist in preparing rating committee materials, developing credit recommendations, and participating in rating committee discussions. Build and maintain relationships with market participants, including lenders, investors, and bankers, to support market intelligence and credit research. Help manage and monitor a broad portfolio of credits while identifying opportunities to improve analytical processes, data management, and workflows. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, data analytics, or a related field. Progress toward the CFA designation is a plus. Strong financial and quantitative analytical skills, including experience working with financial statements, economic data, and large financial datasets. Experience with time-series and cross-sectional data analysis, with an interest in applying quantitative methods to financial markets and credit research. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with strong working knowledge of Python and SQL for financial data analysis, manipulation, and reporting. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus. Experience using AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude to support research, data analysis, or workflow efficiency is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. A proactive, collaborative approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
