Account Executive - Destinations.

FULL TIMEREMOTESALES & MARKETING

Job Title: Account Executive, Strategic Communications – Destinations (LATAM & Caribbean)

Location: Miami, FL or New York, NY (hybrid)

Who We Are:

We are the only luxury marketing platform that unites data and performance, content and creativity, experiences and communications within one integrated ecosystem.

About our Strategic Communications Division:

Strategic Communications:

We Engineer Influence.

In the Strategic Communications Division, we are the global partners for brands that define categories. Our expertise is singular: integrated communications for luxury, ultra-luxury, and lifestyle.

Our methodology is Magic + Math. This means every creative idea is rooted in a business strategy, and every narrative is designed to deliver a commercial outcome. We bring a CMO's focus on growth to the art of storytelling, ensuring our work doesn't just make headlines—it moves key performance indicators. We are the driving force behind the measurable growth in our clients' audience, leads, engagement, and revenue.

We don't just tell stories; we build business cases that captivate.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our dynamic team to help shape the future of the new and growing Destinations Division of our Strategic Communications team. This role is perfect for an organized, mindful and innovative thinker who believes data and insights should inform creativity – not limit it. You’ll be responsible for contributing to integrated communications strategies that connect media and high-value audiences with our destination clients. You’ll work alongside passionate strategists, creatives, and data specialists to deliver campaigns that are as effective as they are inspiring.

What You’ll Do

We’re seeking an Account Executive who can be responsible for driving and contributing to client success and satisfaction. You’ll work within a team of 6-8 team members to drive results across a portfolio of destination accounts, with a current focus on Mexican states and regions. Job responsibilities include:

  • Execute strategic communications strategies that support client objectives
  • Maintain strong day-to-day client relationships through meetings, conference calls, agenda-building, reporting and regular communication
  • Develop creative story angles and media outreach angles to generate meaningful coverage that will inspire target audiences
  • Draft press releases, pitches, media alerts, briefing materials, fact sheets, talking points and other communications materials
  • Cultivate strong media relationships with journalists, editors, producers, influencers and industry partners
  • Secure proactive and reactive media coverage across national, regional, trade, broadcast, and digital outlets
  • Identify timely newsjacking opportunities and emerging industry trends
  • Assist with campaign development, partnerships, media events, and brand activations
  • Support executive visibility initiatives including speaking opportunities, awards, and leadership events
  • Monitor, measure and report media activity and results while tracking account progress against goals
  • Mentor and support account coordinators, providing guidance on day-to-day work
  • Conduct client, competitor, and industry research to inform strategy
  • Stay current on luxury travel, hospitality, lifestyle and media trends
  • Handle day-to-day account needs while proactively identifying solutions and escalating larger issues to team leadership when appropriate
  • Work with destination tourism product suppliers and clients to assemble thoughtful and enticing press trip itineraries
  • This role may require travel both domestically and internationally for support with events, press trips, client meetings, industry conferences, etc.

Who You Are

  • You have one to three years’ experience in travel/lifestyle PR; destination PR experience and agency experience is preferred
  • Proficiency/fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
  • You’re able to adapt to a fast-paced, multi-tasking, unique work environment
  • You’re flexible with changing plans and goals; adaptable and forward-thinking
  • You’re a self-starter with an interest in actively contributing to a team, with ability to work independently when needed
  • You have experience drafting and editing press materials and managing conversations with media and content creators
  • You have experience working on events and activations and/or managing FAM or press trips
  • You have a growing portfolio of secured media coverage (national, magazine, newspaper, broadcast and digital wins)
  • You have knowledge of the travel industry and relevant media, including industry-appropriate bloggers and content creators
  • You have proficiency in reporting platforms like Muck Rack, Meltwater, and Tagger)
