Project Manager-Commercial Concrete Construction.

FULL TIMESALES & MARKETING$110K–140K/YR

About the Company

Our client is an established commercial concrete contractor serving the Atlanta metropolitan area and surrounding Southeast markets. The company specializes in structural and cast-in-place concrete construction, delivering projects across commercial, industrial, multifamily, healthcare, and institutional sectors.

With a strong project pipeline and continued growth, the organization is looking to add an experienced Project Manager who can help drive successful project execution, maintain strong client relationships, and contribute to the company's continued expansion.

About the Position

The Project Manager will oversee commercial concrete construction projects from preconstruction through final completion. This individual will coordinate project teams, manage budgets and schedules, oversee subcontractors, and work closely with field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial concrete construction, understands the complexities of structural and cast-in-place concrete work, and can balance detailed project oversight with effective communication and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Manage commercial concrete projects throughout the project lifecycle, from preconstruction planning and mobilization through completion and closeout.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Develop and monitor project budgets, track costs, review financial performance, and implement strategies to maintain profitability.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage project schedules, coordinate milestones, and work with field teams to maintain productivity and meet deadlines.
  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure work is completed according to project specifications and schedule requirements.
  • Field Coordination: Partner with superintendents and field personnel to address construction challenges, allocate resources, and maintain efficient jobsite operations.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Contract Administration: Review contracts, manage change orders, track project documentation, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Quality & Safety: Support quality control initiatives and promote safe construction practices throughout project execution.
  • Project Closeout: Oversee punch lists, final documentation, outstanding change orders, and project turnover to ensure successful completion.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, preferably with a concrete contractor.
  • Strong knowledge of cast-in-place concrete, structural concrete, foundations, and elevated slabs.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.
  • Understanding of commercial construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, and contract administration.
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or comparable platforms.
  • Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with field leadership and multiple project stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, but not required.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of $110,000–$140,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Bonus potential tied to company and project performance.
  • Opportunity to join an established contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial concrete projects.
  • Career growth opportunities within a growing organization.
  • Collaborative working environment with direct involvement in project execution and business success.
