Assistant Manager, Rewards Operations & HR Data Analytics.

FULL TIMEPEOPLE & OPS

The Assistant Manager, Rewards Operations & HR Data supports accurate and controlled delivery of compensation cycles, Rewards data, benefits and mobility data support, HR reporting, and selected HR Operations processes across EcoCeres’ operating markets.

The role prepares and validates data, coordinates defined processes and vendors, documents controls, and identifies practical process improvements. It works in partnership with two existing team members under clear review, escalation, and control arrangements.

This is a hands-on role in a lean, multi-country environment. Success requires strong Excel and reconciliation capability, sound data judgment, process discipline, and early escalation of incomplete inputs, timing risks, or control issues.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Rewards operations and analytics (40%)

  • Prepare and validate data for annual budget, merit, bonus, and compensation-cycle delivery.
  • Support market-survey participation, job-data preparation, matching documentation, and market-data analysis under Total Rewards methodology.
  • Prepare rewards dashboards, headcount/cost analysis, compa-ratio and pay-position reports, and controlled ad-hoc analysis.
  • Support benefits, mobility, and insurance data analysis, including vendor data preparation and policy-review inputs.
  • Maintain documented assumptions, source files, version control, and review checks for all material analysis.

2. HR data, reporting, and HRIS (30%)

  • Maintain accurate employee data records and report output for assigned countries/processes.
  • Serve as HR key user for assigned HRIS activities: requirements gathering, data validation, report configuration, UAT, issue logging, and user guidance.
  • Support HR data requests for finance, audit, ESG, annual reporting, investor-related reporting, and internal management reporting through agreed templates and data controls.
  • Support digital personnel-file design, data-cleaning, retention, access-control, and documentation work.

3. HR Operations resilience and process controls (30%)

  • Support defined payroll calendars, overseas-payroll inputs, checklists, and reporting under Doer–Checker–Approver controls.
  • Document HR Operations processes, hand-offs, controls, and service standards.
  • Support operational process-improvement work, including E-Sign, standard letters, data accuracy, and employee-document workflows.
  • Identify recurring manual exceptions, root causes, and improvement opportunities; escalate control risks early.
  • Support additional projects only where scope, priority, timeline, review points, and accountable owner are agreed with the Head of Total Rewards & HR Operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Degree in HR, business, finance, analytics, or related discipline; relevant Rewards/HRIS certification is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience delivering at least two of these areas: compensation cycles, market surveys, payroll coordination, benefits administration, HR data/reporting or HRIS process work.
  • Strong Excel and reconciliation skills are essential, including the ability to explain assumptions, trace source data and identify anomalies. Power BI or equivalent is preferred; HRIS/UAT/reporting experience is preferred.
  • Sound judgment on confidentiality, control boundaries, and escalation. Comfortable working with incomplete inputs, documenting process steps, escalating risk early, and applying a structured checking approach.
  • Proven agility and resilience in high-growth, fast-paced environments (e.g. pre-IPO, FMCG, technology), with demonstrated ability to turn raw data into executive models under tight deadlines.
