Maintenance Manager- Mitsis Mitsis N'U Piraeus Port
Region: Piraeus, Athens
Employment Type: Permanent / Full-time
Purpose:
As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of all hotel facilities and the efficient organization of the Maintenance Department. You will ensure that high standards of operation, health and safety, and service are maintained, while monitoring the achievement of operational objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the optimal operation of the hotel's technical, technological and mechanical installations and equipment, always in line with the company's high standards.
- Plans and coordinates the daily operations of the Maintenance Department.
- Contributes to setting the objectives of the departments under their responsibility, in line with the approved annual budget and quality standards.
- Actively participates in the staffing process for positions within the department, in accordance with company policy and the Group's values.
- Monitors staff performance, professional conduct and behavior, provides evaluation and guidance, and develops employee development plans based on identified training needs.
Requirements
- Degree from a Technical School (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry, preferably in large hotel properties.
- Excellent knowledge of pumping stations, mechanical plant rooms and modern technical systems.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and installations.
- Basic knowledge of heating systems and LPG, along with general technical knowledge and construction skills.
- Foreign languages: Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications.
