Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid on mid shift (1pm to 10pm). This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Philippines office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business. What You'll Do Initiate and complete projects to streamline accounting operations via process simplification, standardization and/or automation. Perform (low risk) operational activities like manual journal entries, account reconciliation or budgeting and forecasting Participate in meetings to identify opportunities to streamline/simplify work. This may be one of below, but not limited to APM Policy review, MJE automation/reduction focused on high effort entries, and global QA tasks standardization Present the results of the project to GBS Leadership Lead/participate in GBS-wide engagement activities Internship Group Placement Interns may be assigned to one of the following groups, based on business needs and placement availability: Fixed Assets and Product Costing and Inventory Pricing General Accounting and Statutory COE Tax Compliance Intercompany Treasury Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) Candidates must be graduating/3rd year college students of Finance and Accounting courses, with internship as official undergraduate requirement Must be willing to extend internship hours if needed and work on a hybrid set-up.
