HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE… As a Distribution Material Handler in our West Sacramento warehouse, you will help keep products and point-of-sale (POS) materials moving safely and accurately through the distribution operation. From receiving and storing inventory to picking, preparing, and loading orders, your work will directly support reliable service and an efficient warehouse. Use manual and powered material-handling equipment to move products throughout the warehouse. Sort and place products and POS materials in designated rack and shelf locations. Accurately pick and assemble customer orders, place orders on pallets, stretch-wrap completed pallets, and prepare them for shipping. Mark and label incoming products with required information, including date code, product description/code, and case count. Label outgoing products with the appropriate route number/bin location and pallet count. Verify quantities of products and POS materials received. Use warehouse technology, including RF scanning and voice-picking equipment, in accordance with company operating guidelines. Prepare and organize the warehouse to support daily cycle counts, inventory activities, and order fulfillment. Complete daily powered-equipment maintenance checklists and report defective equipment. Maintain clean work areas and ensure aisles and exits remain clear of obstructions. Follow established safe lifting and carrying procedures. Follow applicable safety, food safety, hygiene, housekeeping, and personal-protection procedures. Promptly report job-related injuries, property damage, and defective equipment to supervision. Participate in Continuous Improvement activities, including 5S: Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. Perform other duties as required to support warehouse operations. What I changed: I reorganized the original description into the required candidate-facing format, consolidated repetitive safety and housekeeping language, and separated baseline qualifications from relevant preferred experience. I also retained the $22.50/hour rate, 4:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. shift, physical requirements, and key operational duties rather than introducing qualifications that were not in the source JD. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment. Please ask your Talent Acquisition Partner for more information about our total rewards package.
