Scope of Position This detail-oriented,quality-focused individual, as part of the Injection Molding department, will be responsible for operating and maintaining plastic injection mold machines. This position is responsible for supervision of N/A. This position reports to the Production Supervisor. This role is onsite and is based in Orlando, FL. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Operate and maintain Plastic Injection Mold machines Provide recommendations and general production process improvements. Perform equipment PM as assigned. Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining production rates and quality requirements. Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Company management. Travel Requirements: 0% Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Experience working in a manufacturing or assembly environment. Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, specifications, and production documentation. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and effectively. Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable. Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, employment verification, and any required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment. Working Conditions While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the company’s location in Oviedo, FL. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager. Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to: Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds. Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor. Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers. Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
