As an International Tax Associate you will support tax compliance and planning activities for clients, helping review financial information, prepare tax returns, and validate adherence to tax laws and regulations within our Tax practice. As an Associate you will focus on learning, contributing to client projects, and building your technical knowledge while adapting to a variety of assignments, asking questions, and taking ownership of your work in a fast-paced environment. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Kolkata, you will support senior team members, interpret data, identify patterns, and develop a deeper understanding of cross-border tax matters while delivering work that reflects accuracy, responsiveness, and a commitment to continuous growth. Responsibilities - Reviewing client financial data and tax records to support compliance calculations and return preparation - Preparing tax returns, schedules, and supporting documentation for domestic and international tax matters - Researching tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements to support accurate reporting and timely submissions - Analyzing financial statements and transaction data to identify tax implications and reporting differences - Drafting tax workpapers, summaries, and submission materials for review by senior team members - Supporting multiple client assignments while adapting to changing priorities and deadlines - Applying tax compliance tools and digital platforms to organize data, track deliverables, and monitor filing status - Documenting findings, raising questions, and using feedback to strengthen technical knowledge and work output What You Must Have - At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Master's in Commerce - Oral and written proficiency in English required What Sets You Apart - Applying accounting practices and tax compliance knowledge - Drafting tax documents and preparing tax returns - Gathering data from multiple sources and analyzing patterns - Communicating clearly while asking questions and listening actively - Adapting to varied client needs and changing scope - Using feedback to develop commercial awareness and tax skills Travel Requirements Not Specified Job Posting End Date Are you ready to make a difference?
