- Support Major Projects: Be on the front lines of critical infrastructure projects, helping ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Enforce Standards: Maintain adherence to VDOT standards and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with Experts: Work alongside experienced engineers, contractors, and agency personnel.
- Solve Real-World Challenges: Adapt to changing field conditions and find practical solutions.
- Relevant Experience: 1–5 years of construction inspection experience, including VDOT inspection experience and knowledge of roadway, structure, and bridge construction.
- Certification Savvy: VDOT certifications in soil and aggregate, asphalt, concrete, intermediate work zone, and more.
- Strong Work Ethic: A dedication to quality, safety, and timely project completion.
Required Certifications:
- VDOT Soil and Aggregate Field Compaction
- VDOT Asphalt Field Level I & II
- ACI Concrete Field Tech Grade I
- DEQ Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector
- Nuclear Gauge Safety Training
- Intermediate Work Zone Safety Training
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction
