- Assist in the planning and execution of strategic outreach plans in local and outside markets
- Produce content and distribute public information materials, including flyers, door hangers, websites, newsletters, mass and social, presentations, exhibit boards, maps, etc.
- Work with in-house graphic design team to create print and digital collateral
- Assist with special events including public meetings and hearings, open houses, groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, and project tours
- Maintain project delivery documentation
- Monitor public email and hotline accounts while responding to inquiries as needed
- 0-2 years of professional experience in a similar industry
- Must possess the ability to work and collaborate with team members, clients, and the public
- Writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, self-starter
- Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in public/media relations and/or community engagement/public involvement strategies is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Marketing, etc. is a plus
