- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or using industrial dishwashers, ensuring all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised to the highest standards - Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, countertops, and food preparation areas, maintaining a hygienic environment that complies with health and safety regulations
- Empty rubbish bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with organisational procedures - Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, including peeling, chopping, slicing, and organising ingredients - Receive, store, and organise kitchen supplies and ingredients, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring stock rotation
