Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and acceptance test automation practices. Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL query development, data validation, and test data management. • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools. • Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks and reusable test libraries. • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms. • Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, k6, Gatling, LoadRunner, or similar solutions. • Understanding of microservices architectures, REST APIs, and distributed systems. • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS, container technologies, and Kubernetes. • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex business domains and translate business requirements into effective test strategies, test cases, and automation solutions. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience implementing enterprise-wide shift-left testing and continuous quality engineering practices. • Experience supporting cloud transformation, modernization, and migration initiatives. • Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and production diagnostics. • Experience testing cloud-native applications deployed on Kubernetes. • Familiarity with service virtualization, contract testing, and test data management. • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments. • Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools and quality engineering accelerators. • Experience developing custom testing frameworks, utilities, or productivity accelerators. • Experience working in the Employee Benefits, Insurance, Healthcare, Financial Services, or other regulated industries. • Familiarity with Employee Benefits business processes such as enrollment, eligibility, billing, servicing, commissions, and employer/member experiences. • Proven ability to rapidly acquire business domain expertise and collaborate effectively with product, business, and operations teams. This role offers the opportunity to help transform quality engineering practices across Employee Benefits by building robust test automation, advancing shift-left testing, integrating quality into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring reliable delivery of modern cloud-native applications while developing expertise in a complex and evolving insurance domain. About Us | Our Culture | What It’s Like to Work Here Every day, a day to do right. Showing up for people isn’t just what we do. It’s who we are – and have been for more than 200 years. We’re devoted to finding innovative ways to serve our customers, communities and employees—continually asking ourselves what more we can do. Is our policy language as simple and inclusive as it can be? Can we better help businesses navigate our ever-changing world? What else can we do to destigmatize mental health in the workplace? Can we make our communities more equitable? That we can rise to the challenge of these questions is due in no small part to our company values that our employees have shaped and defined. And while how we contribute looks different for each of us, it’s these values that drive all of us to do more and to do better every day.
