PEOPLE & OPS$110K–135K/YR

Interested in joining one of Canada's top-performing asset managers? We are looking for a Manager, Talent Acquisition to join our growing Talent Acquisition team for an existing vacancy. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional and emerging leader to play a key role in shaping how we attract, engage, and hire talent across our organization.

Working closely with Talent Acquisition leadership, you will combine hands-on recruitment delivery with team mentorship, operational oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, support the development of our recruitment team, and help advance our use of technology, data, and innovative recruitment practices. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with execution and is motivated by building a modern, efficient, and high-performing Talent Acquisition function.

Join a collaborative, inclusive community that values your well-being and flexibility. Work on meaningful projects with talented colleagues committed to your growth and success. Your contributions will be recognized through competitive rewards and opportunities for advancement.  Our offices currently operate on a hybrid model with a combination of in-office and remote working days throughout the week. This role will require 3 days/week in our Toronto office.

What You Will Do

  • Provide operational leadership across the Talent Acquisition function, overseeing recruitment processes, workflows, systems, and day-to-day activities to ensure efficient, consistent, and effective delivery.
  • Guide and mentor the TA team, providing ongoing coaching, training, and support while establishing best practices, monitoring recruitment KPIs, and leveraging performance insights to drive accountability, team development, and continuous improvement.
  • Own and drive system and process optimization, taking responsibility for ATS functionality, recruitment workflows, technologies, and automation to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and the overall hiring experience.
  • Build recruitment capabilities across the organization by developing and delivering training, tools, and resources that strengthen hiring manager effectiveness and promote consistent recruitment practices.
  • Partner with business and HR leaders to understand evolving talent needs, provide strategic recruitment advice, and support broader talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Lead strategic recruitment mandates, managing full-cycle searches for senior, specialized, and business-critical positions while developing targeted talent attraction and sourcing strategies.
  • Champion recruitment excellence, ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience while staying current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and evolving TA best practices.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, including demonstrated leadership and operational oversight within a complex or matrixed organization.
  • Proven ability to provide day-to-day team leadership, coaching, and mentorship, including establishing best practices, supporting team development, and driving accountability and consistent execution.
  • Strong understanding of TA operations, with hands-on experience optimizing recruitment processes, workflows, and technology to improve efficiency, scalability, and overall effectiveness.
  • Experience developing and monitoring recruitment KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and performance improvements.
  • Experience developing and delivering recruitment training, tools, and resources to strengthen recruiter capabilities and support consistent hiring practices across the organization.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to advise senior business leaders, navigate competing priorities, and align recruitment strategies with business needs.
  • Experience leading strategic and complex recruitment mandates, including senior-level and specialized hiring, with the ability to develop targeted sourcing strategies and manage the full recruitment lifecycle.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with strong project management skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and an interest in leveraging emerging technologies, including AI and automation, to advance TA effectiveness.

The expected base salary range for this position is $110,000-$135,000. The midpoint represents our general market target for a fully qualified and experienced individual performing the role. Actual starting salary may fall below or above the midpoint depending on the candidate's relevant experience, skills and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations.
